Another #BrewedToDoGood project
Launched in 2009, and using the much admired tree that lives in our children’s section, Indigo Bridge continues our annual Giving Tree project. Each year, to help assure that children and families in need have a gift to open during this holiday season, we partner with a community program. This year we are working with Elliott Elementary School to gift their English Language Learning families with blankets and books.
This is how it works and how you can participate:
Come into Indigo Bridge during regular business hours between now and December 17 to select an ornament hanging on the Giving Tree.
On the back of each ornament is a gift item a child or family is requesting.
Purchase the item.
Return the ornament AND the UNWRAPPED gift to Indigo by 5:45pm on Sunday, December 17. Indigo Bridge Staff will then box, wrap and deliver the gifts to the designated children and their families.
Don’t want to shop and would rather contribute to the cause? In this case, we suggest a cash gift of $30. Your cash donation will be applied to a blanket for each family member. Indigo Community is our registered nonprofit, and your donation will be tax deductible.
Our Giving Tree program is another #BrewedToDoGood project, where Indigo Bridge fulfills its nonprofit mission to contribute to educational and community projects of benefit to Lincoln families and young people.
